Spyware/Virus Removal

Please note that removing infections may involve some brute force techniques and it is strongly recommended that you backup your data before we begin removal.

Secure Data Deletion
Did you know that when you delete a file on your computer, it is not really deleted?! The file is still on the hard drive but its location has been deleted. Think of your computer like a book, and the files are like the pages. Instead of erasing the contents of the page, you are just removing references to that page in the table of contents. The page is still there and can be found if someone takes the trouble to look for it.

This is usually enough in most cases, as it is not easy to recover these deleted files. But the files can be retrieved with some effort. If you had sensitive information such as business records or personal information stored on your computer it is worth considering secure deletion of the invisible data left over on the hard drive before you dispose of your old computer.

Password/Data Recovery
